Situation

Well, this happened to a good friend of mine, she was walking to her boyfriends house. in her back bag she had a lot of personal things, like under wear and things like that. so, in an unexpected moment her bag was broken and all people could see her personal things on the floor. That was a very embarresed situation for her.

What would you do in that situation?

Chilean food

In Chile we are very popular about our food and typical dishes, because tourists and also local people always comment very well about our food.
The most popular dishes here in Chile are maybe “empanadas” and barbecue. People always eat empanadas on September for “Fiestas Patrias”, but barbecue is very usual for every event, such as birthdays, football matches or any other celebration and special events that you can imagine.
Maybe our least popular dishes are some vegetables such as “purple cabbage” or “brucelas”. I think it’s because people prefer meat and not healthy food.
Personally, my favourite Chilean dish is “humita”, it’s prepared by corn, some onion, and is very delicious.

Nothimg can be done to save the environment

I totally disagree about the statement, because we can do a lot of this to save our planet, it is just that maybe people don't feel that, maybe people is feeling pessimist about it, but it exist a lot of things that we can do.
We can do things for our planet and I'm going to mention some things that we can do: to put de garbage on rubbish bins, recycling, usin the lights that we need and not to turn on every light of the house, using the water that we need, to plant more trees, etc...
So, we have to inform people about this and many other ways to save our planet, but that is our responsability, because the planet can`t do this alone.

Should computer based programmes/or studing online replace real classes?

I rekon that studing online is a really good oportunity for students to know a new way of study and also to comunicate to people around the world and hold concersations by chats and forums which has to do with education and other topics about their interest. But not always computers help people to do home work or things like that, they can also entertain people serching for things of their interest, like music, movies, famous people, etc...
Sometimes students get distracted with some web pages and that is not so nice when they have to do something more important as a homework and they can spent hours playing some games and not doing their homework, so that is not a good part of this, there are moments to playk, But personaly I think that computers are very good complement and help for teachers, but not necessarily a replace.

My last Weekend

On Friday night I went to my best fiend’s house, she is called Pachy she is 17 years old and I love her, she is a fantastic person and also I always call her “my little sister”. She lives in front of my house. On Saturday night I went to a event called “Suck my kiss” as the Red Hot Chilli Peppers song. It was in “Galpón Victor Jara”, that was really great, there were three bands “Papa Negro”, a “Red Hot Chilli Peppers tribute” and “Guachupe”, those bands play funk music ,I really like that music and I had a really great time there and also my brother me took a few photos with “Papa Negro” then when the event was over I came back to my house alive and safe.

My name is Katherine Fernanda Piñones Fuentes, I'm twenty years old. My birthday is on September 30 (remember that).
I come from Santiago, Chile, I live in Pudahuel wich is far away from the university.
I have lived in Santiago all my life.I have got 2 brothers, Felipe is 24 and Francisco Javier (the love of my life) is 2 years and 11 months.
I like to watch tv, listen to good music (specially Rock), I like to be in front of the computer learneing more about other cultures, and I love discover things every day.
